When a nation-wide uprising breaks out in Palestine, a young woman in Gaza must make a choice between love, family, and freedom. She embraces all three. This film chronicles the journey of Naila Ayesh and a fierce community of women on the front lines, whose stories weave through the most vibrant, nonviolent mobilization in Palestinian history - the First Intifada in the late 1980s.
For International Women's Day! A Palestinian panel will speak briefly after the film.
